There's plenty of debate over when it's best to train each day. Should I do cardio in the morning and weights in the afternoon? Or should i do it all together?

Personally i think it is all down to personal preference when it comes to what time you work out. Some people like to just get their workout out of the way straight away and shoot up to the gym or go running at 7am rather than do it after work in the evening. Whilst some people feel they perform better when they're full awake in the afternoon.

If you perform better in the afternoon and feel as if you're getting better results in the afternoon then go in the afternoon! It's not as if the morning is the only time you can burn off fat! Some people just prefer to do it that way. It's all down to your sleeping pattern, daily routine and commitments.

One thing i do say is very important when working out is in what way you choose to work out e.g. cardio and weights.

If you're going to workout cardio and weight wise all in one session then i would advise you to do weights first then move onto cardio.

The reason for this is because you'll be burning energy during the weights then afterwards when you start to do cardio, your body is out of energy, therefore it needs to burn something to provide energy during the cardio workout which would be fat.

Because cardio is more intense then weights especially HIIT, its the perfect combination as HIIT is meant to burn off the stubborn body fat and doing weights beforehand is giving you that extra edge on it, But i also do advise you don't lift weights for any longer than 30 minutes.

When's the best time to get training?
